Parenting is a ROLLERCOASTER!!!

I am a father of a 2-year-old daughter. Her name is Zoe and I love her to bits! Considering how she has grown over the past two (2) years, I have developed some bonding rituals that have helped!

With the ever-evolving economy, parenting can mimic a pendulum movement! working so hard and trying to show up (being there when your child(ren) needs you can be a daunting task!

I have added some of my bonding rituals. I hope it helps you to communicate and navigate.

1. Pick your child(ren) from school.

2. Come home early to help your child(ren) figure out their homework.

3. Ask your child(ren) how their day went.

4. Eat a family meal together?

5. Discuss sex education or shy away from it?

Here are also some blind spots you might want to pay attention to.

1. Parents understand your child(ren)

2. Never feel ashamed to talk to them about sex education.

3. NEVER COMPARE YOUR CHILDREN…all your fingers are not equal.

4. Always encourage them to pursue their passion, not yours.

5. Be a family that prays together.

6. Don’t be afraid to tell your children no. When you tell them no, explain why your response is a no.

7. Research and read on ways to help groom a healthy and holistic child.
